Cylindrical Drawstring Bucket Bag with Adjustable Strap in Tan

I brought this one in because I kept losing the same bag in my own rotation: something that carries a full day without turning into a tote. The cylinder shape is what decided it for me. It stands upright on a desk or a café table instead of folding over on itself, and worn, it sits close to the hip rather than swinging out into people on a packed E train.

The tan is a warm, sandy neutral rather than a cool grey-beige, so it works against denim, olive, cream, and the camel and brown outerwear I see most often coming through the shop here in Queens. It’s the bag I’d hand to someone going from a shift straight to dinner on Hillside — it doesn’t need to be styled to look considered.

Two things to know before you decide. This is a faux leather bag, not hide, and I’d rather say so up here than bury it in a spec line at the bottom. It’s priced for what it is. The interior is also unlined — you’ll see a soft napped finish rather than a smooth fabric lining, which is part of why the bag stays light in the hand. It also means loose pens and open balms are better kept in a small pouch.
